What To Expect
At CJSA campers & family will have the opportunity to see first hand experience what it is like to reside in another content. Parents & your child will no doubt see a transformational experience that Messiah of Nazareth does in their individual walks of life. Through the meaningful relationships they will have the opportunity to build, see the beautiful creations The Most High has constructed in this rainbow nation, alongside the activities that will become lifelong memories.
During their week stay or day to day CJSA equips your child to learn & grow about the numerous perspectives of cultures in South Africa, enhance their critical thinking, appreciation of what they have been blessed with, and enjoy ethnic cuisines that will have yall's taste buds soaring in diverse dishes. Accommodating allergy and dietary restrictions. Junior High & High School students have the opportunity to unplug from electronic devices and busy schedules to focus on teamwork and communication. They will get to see unique historic, educational, & nature in South Africa. that will give them beautiful stories to share back with family and friends abroad and locally. High-quality college students and young adults serve as excellent role models that help campers strengthen Biblical understanding.
Campers in their age group will develop a clearer sense of how The Most High has made them individually, allowing them to consider their identity at a critical time in their personal development.

Building Character & Making Impacts
Campers will develop the ability to be creative, joyful, and optimistic in the midst of seeing difficulties or unexpected circumstances. That helps them to learn ways to assist their own community back in their areas. They will gain a strong work ethic as they learn about some horticulture practices two days out of the week of their stay.
Gives Camp Journey in South Africa the opportunities to share the Gospel through the efforts of the body of Messiah that come to help keep the garden growing and bearing donated supplies as Bibles, food, hygiene products, clothing, and toys.
Get to Know The Crew
At CJSA we carefully select our staff and counselors from the continent and all over the world. We take time in training the selected counselors and have numerous hours in training them. As they will be able to witness as well mentoring what it’s like to passionately seek The Most High’s ways through the love of our Messiah of Nazareth. When registered for the week or for a few days, we are so ecstatic that you have chosen to partner with us in giving your camper and family an opportunity to have an out of this world camp experience! We know that as parents, your first priority is the safety and care of your camper. We truly believe we have all the systems set in place to ensure your camper is absolutely safe, cared for, while having a blast at Camp Journey in South Africa!
Our staff & counselors undergo a background check, their beliefs, and their daily walk with The Most High, & why they wish to work camp. They will learn our policies, procedures, and their personal responsibility to keep our campers safe. “The Rule of Three” for example, ensures that a staff member is never alone with a camper, and is under constant supervision. Two - three weeks counselors and staff before campers arrive will have them prepared. They will go through workshops that will offer knowledge & instructions on communicating, child protection policies, leadership, & serving by our staff who have learned by our favorite camps the CEO's own child has attended. Will have studies & teaching scripture lessons that they will deliver, communicate, and go in depth with the campers & that can be of aid towards following the ways of The Most High.

The campers are able to see one-on-one interactions in group settings from their designated counselors who pave the path of leadership by Messiah for the young generations to cultivate & develop positive mental attitudes in moving forward with scenarios of life, teamwork building reveals that campers seeing counselors uplift one another as the body of Messiah in 1 Corinthians 12:12-28. While the campers work on articulating their understanding in the word through the exciting and challenging activities they will partake in.
CJSA provides tweens, teens, & younger kiddos accompanied with their parent(s). A beautiful reminder that there is life beyond technology and other everyday distractions. They’ll re-experience the thrill of the outdoors and try different activities, excursions, & bringing scriptures to life in a relevant ways.
